Adult Basic Computer Class 

Join teaching artist Samilia Pelshak for this 4-week course exploring the fundamentals of sewing.

This class/workshop will focus on dramatic writing culminating to presenting works on stage including poetry, short stories, and prose in a dramatic form.

Classes are designed to teach adults how to pronounce and write some basic English words and phrases.

GRIND CITY MEET- A 4 week photography series exploring the essentials and fundamentals of photography from camera basics to photo editing. 

Registration recommended but not required.

Free mobile outreach, with education and information related to blood pressure, hypertension, obesity, diabetes risk, and heart disease. Screening services include blood pressure, height weight and BMI classification.

Participants receive an introduction to painting with a pallet knife, learning to embrace an abstract eye and let go of the tightness that can be found using a paintbrush.

“SPEAK THE SPEECH!” is a focused public speaking workshop designed to teach participants the rudiments of public speaking (often, threatening) in a non-threatening confidence building manner.

We are having a SCRAPING & PAINTING class on Friday, May 16 at 2:00. Thanks to the Friends of the Library, all supplies are provided but registration is required.

Classes will cover introductory Spanish terms and keywords commonly used in day-to-day conversations. Lessons will focus on vocabulary, speaking, and some writing skills to help students communicate effectively in everyday situations.
