Program Description
Event Details
The Raleigh Open Studio Lab is a creative drop-in space designed for filmmakers, photographers, and content creators to edit, create, and grow. Featuring a fully equipped edit bay with Adobe Creative Suite, the lab provides hands-on access to professional tools for photo and video editing in a supportive, community-centered environment.
Whether you’re polishing a short film, editing photos, creating content for social media, or learning the basics of post-production, the Open Studio Lab offers guidance, mentorship, and a place to work at your own pace. Participants are encouraged to bring their own footage or photos and take advantage of on-site support to troubleshoot, refine, and strengthen their projects.
The space is open to beginners and experienced creatives alike and is part of Raleigh Library’s ongoing commitment to digital literacy, creative storytelling, and community access to technology.
