MALS - Consumer/Benefits/Tax Advice Clinic

Memphis Area Legal Service offers free consultations to the public each second Friday of the month at 2pm. Appointments are by first come, first served.  For more information contact Public Services Supervisor Mark Riddle at mark.riddle@memphistn.gov 

These clinics will cover:

CONSUMER LAW UNIT Help consumers with debt collection issues, contract disputes, insurance disputes, faulty home and vehicle repair cases and more.  

BENEFITS UNIT Help with social security, unemployment, Medicare, Medicaid, Tenncare and foodstamp eligibility and more. 

LOW INCOME TAXPAYER CLINIC (LITC) Help taxpayers with federal income tax audits, refund and deduction disputes, Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit and more.
