Giant Community Collage with Like Really Creative

Saturday, February 7, 2-4 PM

Join us in the Central Library lobby to help create one giant, collaborative collage! Everyone is welcome to participate. Artist duo Abby Meyers and Andres Arauz--known as A Correspondence--will guide the process, while a curated soundtrack sets the mood, sparks creativity, and helps you get into a creative flow.

This event kicks off CHARGED UP, a six-part series presented by Memphis Public Libraries in partnership with local arts organization Like Really Creative. The series explores creative wellness through the organization's Four Codes of Creative Energy:

Community: Finding your tribe, sharing your work, and receiving support from other creators to foster connection and combat isolation.

Craft: Developing artistic skills through consistent practice, learning, and focused work on your projects.

Clarity: Clearing mental clutter through meditation, journaling, or quiet reflection to sharpen focus and purpose.

Condition: Supporting creative energy by nurturing the body through movement, rest and physical well-being.

This event is for everyone--even if you don’t think of yourself a “creative” or an “artist.”

No registration required.
