Join us for a free Opera Memphis performance as they celebrate 30 Days of Opera!

Free chess tutorials for all ages. Beginners are invited to learn to play, and veterans are welcome to challenge each other to a friendly match of strategy and tactics. For this event we will meet in our main lobby behind the escalators.

Come and uncover what Sesame Street characters are hidden between the shelves. This program is ongoing, so no worries if you can't participate on the first day. 

Join us for an hour of building, creating, and making new friends! 

Come play some GIANT games with us! We've got Giant Connect Four, Giant Jenga, Giant Scrabble, and more. Bring the kids, bring the grandkids, and bring your A game!

Join Randolph's Movie Club, where we come together to watch blockbuster hits, discuss our love for cinema, and share our hot takes!

Imagine! Build! Share!  Join us at South each Thursday at 4pm to build amazing Lego creations to be displayed and added to our growing archive of builds!

Sensory Storytime is a welcoming interactive environment designed for sensory seeking children with autism or other sensory integration challenges.

Join us for an Open Art Session at Randolph Library This is your chance to explore your artistic talents in a relaxed and fun environment.

Calling all gamers! Flex your skills and go head-to-head with other gamers at Raleigh's Nintendo Switch Game Night. We'll have the classics if you're feeling nostalgic, as well as some newer fan favorites.

📚✨ Join Us for Storytime at Hollywood! Spark your child’s imagination with stories and crafts! 🎶📖 Whether you're a regular or it's your first visit, everyone is welcome to come share the magic of stories!

Connect Crew will be hosting a fitness boot camp every first Saturday at David Carnes Park! The fitness activities will occur near the fitness equipment area.

Come to the Cordova Branch Library to celebrate Grandparents Day.

Share stories and snacks.  Make a clay sculpture gift for your grandparents in honor of their day.

For all ages and no registration is needed.

Rainbow Family Story Time is a space to celebrate love and community, and will feature stories, songs, crafts, and more!

September is National Sewing Month—let’s celebrate with some fun hand sewing! New to sewing? No problem! This is the perfect activity for beginners. Choose your own kit, thread your needle, and start stitching.

We provide the lego bricks and you come with the creations!

Come enjoy a Pop-Up Live music event as Opera Memphis takes 30 Days of Opera on the road and visits South Branch!

Kids can come to their Randolph Branch Library after school on Mondays and utilize their creativity with craft making!

Stop by the South Branch on the 2nd Monday of each month for a special painting project! We'll try out different painting materials and techniques to make great pieces of art!
