You're invited to engage in an evening of monologue performances that culminate this 6 week drama course taught by Ann Perry Wallace in partnership with Cossitt Library and sponsored by the Friends Of The Library.

Come join us for stories, songs and fun, specially designed for pre-school children! Groups must pre-register.

Join us every first and third Monday of the month for a magical story time adventure! Enjoy engaging tales, lively music, catchy songs, and plenty of laughter and fun.

The only objective is to put words on paper! Think of this as a NaNoWriMo "write-in," but for those of us who need longer than a year to write a book! Bring a writing project to work on, or start something new. All skill levels welcome.

Get into the holiday spirit at the Deck the Halls: Wreath Making Workshop! Join Priscilla Gilliam of UT/TSU Extension for a fun, hands-on session where you'll create a beautiful, custom wreath using provided supplies and step-by-step guidance.

Join the Dixon's own Shawna White for an hour of learning inspired by the ever changing seasons and collections at the Gallery. No experience needed to create your own works of art from a wide variety of techniques!

Join us for an hour of building, creating, and making new friends! 

Children will enjoy an interactive and engaging storytime that is sure to keep them wanting more! Each storytime will include a read-aloud of 2-3 books, movement activities, and a craft!

Let's have fun and celebrate the fall season by doing this scarecrow craft. This family scarecrow arts and crafts will bring everyone together to create a handmade scarecrow figure.

November is National Novel Writing Month! Every week we will be hosting a Drop Everything and Write session where the Raleigh Library will provide you with time, space, and a supportive environment to focus on your writing.

Step into a creative space where storytelling comes to life. Each week, we’ll explore the fundamentals of photography, videography, and filmmaking  from lighting and composition to editing and visual storytelling.
