Event Details

Two solar eclipses in six months! Join us to learn all about solar eclipses and the science behind them in preparation for the next solar eclipse in April.  

Faculty from the Department of Physics and Materials Science at the University of Memphis will offer an interactive presentation followed by Q&A. Educational activities for children will be provided and light refreshments will be available. 

Attendees will receive free solar eclipse viewing glasses to watch the upcoming eclipse on April 8th, 2024.
