Sounds from the Stacks: Kathy Zhou

Join us at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library on March 12th from 4:30-5:30 pm for a musical performance by local musician Kathy Zhou. Kathy Zhou’s music blurs the boundaries of genre, with traces of pop, burlesque, rock, vintage folk, theatre, and classical. Kathy is known for her unique and engaging playing style, which marries her classical piano prowess with moments of improvisational, rock-inspired shredding. Her signature sound combines her instrumental virtuosity with witty, imaginative lyrics and haunting, whimsical vocals.
