Creative Aging Studio Course: Mosaic Workshop

Description: Learners ages 65+ are invited to register for this 4-week Creative Aging Mosaic Studio Course at Orange Mound Library. Participants work with teaching artist Kristi Duckworth to learn the basic skills of creating mosaics including drawing and coloring a mosaic pattern, cutting pieces out of clay, glazing, adhering mosaic pieces, and grouting. This 4-week course meets on Tuesdays from 11:00am-1:00pm at Orange Mound Library on 4.8, 4.15, 4.22, and 4.29. Must attend all four sessions. Mosaic Garden Tiles is a FREE Studio Course for learners 65+ offered by Creative Aging Memphis in partnership with Memphis Public Libraries. This partnership is supported by ArtsMemphis, H.W. Durham Foundation, the Thomas W. Briggs Foundation, the Memphis Library Foundation, Friends of the Memphis Public Library.
