Event Details

Domestic violence is a pattern of abuse and/or coercive behavior used to gain or keep power and control of another person. It can include legal and illegal acts that undermine the victim's sense of safety, self, and free will. Domestic violence includes intimate partner abuse, elder abuse, and child abuse.

This FREE legal clinic provides an opportunity for survivors of domestic violence to understand their rights. Attorneys from Memphis Area Legal Services, Inc. will be on hand to provide limited legal advice and answer questions.*

Individuals who need legal advice must arrive by 11:30 AM to complete a required intake. Please note attorneys can only provide advice if the person who has a legal question or problem is present.

*This does not guarantee that the attorney will take your case or represent you in court.
