This session is designed to teach the basics of rhythm and drumming in a fun and interactive way. Participants will learn foundational drumming techniques, explore dynamics and rhythm layering, develop steady grooves inspired by various styles, and unleash their creativity through improvisation and group collaboration. Each session builds skills while fostering teamwork and self-expression, making it an engaging introduction to the world of drumming.

Jason Doyle is a seasoned drummer with decades of experience in performance and education. He has played with groups like The Possum Pie Band, Cowboy Bob and the Bountyhunters, and his current band, The Delta Project. Jason has performed at iconic venues like Beale Street and Lafayette’s Music Hall and recorded at legendary studios such as Sun Studios and Ardent Studios. His passion for rhythm and extensive background make him an inspiring guide for aspiring drummers.
