Join teaching artist Phyllis Boger for this 2-part introduction to silk painting. Learn various techniques and methods for working with the dyes, brushes, and mounting the silk. Participants will create an original piece from their own design.

This 2-part course meets on Wednesdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Frayser Branch Library on November 5, 2025 and November 12, 2025. Participants must attend both sessions for a full experience. 

Silk Painting is a FREE course for learners 65+ is offered by Creative Aging in partnership with Memphis Public Libraries and with support from ARTSmemphis, the Tennessee Arts Commission, the National Endowment of the Arts, the Memphis Library Foundation, and the Memphis Public Library- Friends of the Library.
