Join teaching artist Tammy Groves for this 4-week introduction to painting with acrylics. Participants learn the foundations of working with the medium including proper use of materials, color mixing, layers, and composition. Participants apply the skills learned to create their own original painting.

This 4-week course meets on Wednesdays from 10:30am-12:30pm at Frayser Library on 5.6, 5.13, 5.20, and 5.27. Must attend all four sessions.

Beginner Arcrylic is a FREE Studio Course for learners 65+ offered by Creative Aging in partnership with Memphis Public Libraries.
