Let's all read See Marcus Grow by Marcus Bridgewater! On February 26, 2026 East Shelby Branch will join millions of children and adults read the same book on the same day. 

This program introduces the fundamentals of caring for houseplants so they can thrive indoors. You will learn how to understand plant needs, recognize common problems, and build simple care routines.

Come join our monthly Thursday Bingo! This is where the fun games begin with great prizes for all our winners and a great time no matter what.

Love comics, or graphic novels? Join the Whitehaven Comic Club- a fun, friendly space for teens ages 13 and up to explore epic stories, cool arts, and unforgettable characters. 

Fiber arts creators come together and work on your current project!

Do you like Dungeons and Dragons but don't know how to play? Great, neither do we! Come play a chaotic game where no one knows the rules but still have to win battles against unknown foes. 

Open Makerspace is a daily drop-in opportunity for teens to explore fiber arts like crochet and embroidery, DIY crafts, nail design art, or test new tools and materials.

Imagine! Build! Share!  Join us at South each Thursday at 4pm to build amazing Lego creations to be displayed and added to our growing archive of builds!

Build English skills in a relaxed, friendly environment, meet other English learners, and practice speaking and listening skills in small groups.

Join our weekly Zumba fitness class. It's an excellent workout that will allow you to burn calories while having fun. It will also strengthen your muscles and improve flexibility. Please plan to be on time.

Learning how to use a computer can seem overwhelming at first, but it doesn’t have to be. This class focuses on practical, hands-on instruction designed to help participants feel more comfortable with technology.

Sensory Storytime is a welcoming interactive environment designed for sensory seeking children with autism or other sensory integration challenges.
