Memphis Public Libraries provides free notary services to the public during drop-in hours: WEDNESDAYS from Noon – 2 PM at the Central Library in the Business & Sciences Department on the 3rd floor.

Come out, enjoy and have fun learning our basic line dancing steps at a slower pace. This class is more instructional and repetitive. This class is cardio-driven and more about movement than technique.

Like to play Mah Jong but need friends to play with?  Our Club might be for you. It is for those who have played some, know the suits, the flow of play, and how to use an American Mah Jong Card. There is no teacher. We just play.

Join us for a cursive writing workspace. Cursive writing is an elegant form of handwriting where letter is connected in a flowing manner, allowing for smoother and faster writing compared to print.

Open Makerspace is a daily drop-in opportunity for teens to explore fiber arts like crochet and embroidery, DIY crafts, nail design art, or test new tools and materials.

Children will enjoy an interactive and engaging storytime that is sure to keep them wanting more! Each storytime will include a read-aloud of 2-3 books, movement activities, and a craft!

Build English skills in a relaxed, friendly environment, meet other English learners, and practice speaking and listening skills in small groups.    

Are you a teen interested in computer programming? Have a programming project you need help with? Just want to talk about computers and software? Join our computer programming instructor and your peers for "Open Compute Time".

Join us every Wednesday for Pokémon Club! Whether you’re brand new or already battling with friends, this is the perfect place to learn how to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game, practice your skills, and have fun.

Ever find yourself stuck when you're trying to write? Or, maybe, you don't even know how to start? Then please join us for 'The Writer's Block,' a writing club geared towards gathering writers together and getting words down on the page.

Join our monthly adult book club meeting! We will discuss the selected book of the month. 

Join us for a fun aerobics exercise with Ms. Linda Epps. It's a great way to enjoy exercising while allowing you to stretch and improve flexibility, muscular strength, and cardiovascular fitness. 

Connect Crew will be present outside of the Hospitality Hub to share library resources.

United Way of the Mid-South IRS-certified volunteers will provide FREE basic income tax return preparation. The schedule is from Tuesday to Saturday, closed on Mondays and holidays.
