Join this incredible opportunity for teen writers of all levels to hone their skills in this writing workshops series with author Jasper Joyner. In this class we will explore magic, the supernatural, and imaginary worlds and creatures with a camp all about fantasy short stories. Students will learn the basics of the fantasy genre and leave with an original short story of their own.

Jasper Joyner is an author, poet, and teaching artist from Memphis, TN. Jasper's chapbook, A Flamboyance, with Bottlecap Press, and YA fantasy novel, Juniper Leaves, are out now. Their most recent work, PANSY: A BLACK AMERICAN MEMOIR, was voted one of PUBLISHER WEEKLY’s BookLife Best Books of 2024.
