Make your Spring Break EPIC at Hollywood Library as we host Genre Week! Drop in and join us for a week full of fun, hands-on and even tasty activities! Glance below to see what we are up to everyday beginning at 2pm- 3:30pm.
- Monday - Mystery🔎
Sleuth around looking for clues and adventure just like Sherlock Holmes. Put your detective skills to work in the scavenger hunt around the library to solve a mystery!
- Tuesday - Horror 🧬
Create your very own creature with slime! We will bring these monsters to life by writing their origin stories in unique detail as we learn about the Horror genre.
- Wednesday - Fantasy 🐉
Immerse yourself in a world full of fantasy through a Fun Virtual Reality experience. We will use VR headsets to explore magical gardens, walk through castles and even float through clouds!
- Thursday - Science Fiction 🛸
Get ready for blast off with galaxy themed rice crispy treats as we discover what makes Science Fiction so out of this world!
- Friday - Adventure 🏰
Pack your bags for an adventure through another VR Headset immersive experience. We will explore the jungle floors, get up close with the Pyramids of Giza and even climb mountains!
