Many of us have likely faced the challenge of “writer’s block” or other creative hurdles. But what if our perception of writer’s block is misguided? Join us for this lecture as we explore a new perspective on the concept and discover strategies to overcome or prevent it in the future.

Jasper Joyner is an author, poet, and teaching artist from Memphis, TN. Jasper's chapbook, A Flamboyance, with Bottlecap Press, and YA fantasy novel, Juniper Leaves, are out now. Their most recent work, PANSY: A BLACK AMERICAN MEMOIR, was voted one of PUBLISHER WEEKLY’s BookLife Best Books of 2024.
