Program Description
Event Details
Patrons will delve into the past and explore outdated scenarios and logics of the past through the lens of early America. The films explore questions of race, radical extremism, and inward and outward abuse. During the program we will compare and contrast the themes of the books with the film and discuss personal feelings.
The following movies will be shown: Fences, If Beale Street Could Talk, Hidden Figures, The Color Purple.
