Calling all aspiring chefs and kitchen adventurers! Get ready to stir up some fun at the Cordova Library with our brand new "Culinary Creators" cooking classes, specially designed for teens and tweens (ages 10-18)!
Whether you're a complete novice or already whip up masterpieces, these hands-on sessions will equip you with essential kitchen skills, boost your confidence, and awaken your inner culinary genius.
Junior culinary students will make a quick, fun meal of quesadillas with all the fixings. Students will get an opportunity to make Pico de Gallo and guacamole.
What You'll Learn:
- Kitchen Safety & Hygiene: Learn to navigate the kitchen safely and keep things sparkling clean.
- Basic Cooking Techniques: Master knife skills (with age-appropriate supervision), measuring, mixing, and more.
- Following Recipes: Understand recipes, decipher measurements, and adapt them to your liking.
