Project: Personal square or crochet art piece.
Crochet Skill:
Color changes and pattern reading.
Design personal patches or mini wall hangings that reflect identity.
Exploring identity, creativity, and personal strengths. Crochet as a form of self-expression and storytelling.
This workshop combines social-emotional learning (SEL) with the art of crochet to help high school students build focus, resilience, and community. Each session provides a safe, welcoming space where students learn new crochet skills while exploring themes such as mindfulness, patience, problem-solving, and positive self-expression. Students will leave with both handmade creations and practical SEL strategies they can use in daily life.
