Event Details
Project: Small mindful crochet patch or start a scarf.
- Crochet Skill:
- Session 1: Review stitches + introduce half-double crochet.
- Session 2: Practice repetitive stitches to create a “mindful crochet square.”
This workshop combines social-emotional learning (SEL) with the art of crochet to help high school students build focus, resilience, and community. Each session provides a safe, welcoming space where students learn new crochet skills while exploring themes such as mindfulness, patience, problem-solving, and positive self-expression. Students will leave with both handmade creations and practical SEL strategies they can use in daily life.
