Join teaching artist Sarah Nowlin for this introduction to abstract painting with acrylics at Frayser Branch Library. Participants explore varying artists and abstract art movements creating small paintings using acrylic as the primary medium. Participants create small paintings in the styles studied.

This 6-week course meets at Frayser Library on Wednesdays from 10:30am-12pm on 7.31, 8.7, 8.14, 8.21, 8.28, and 9.4. Must attend all six sessions.

Abstract Acrylic Painting is a FREE Studio Course for learners 65+ offered by Creative Aging in partnership with the Memphis Public Libraries. This partnership is supported by ArtsMemphis, H.W.
