Creative Aging Mosaic Garden Tile

Description: Join teaching artist Kristi Duckworth for this five-week mosaic course. Participants learn basic skills needed to work with the art of mosaics including drawing and coloring a mosaic pattern, cutting the piece out of clay, glazing, adhering mosaic pieces, and grouting. This 5-week course meets on Fridays from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the Bartlett Library on 3.8, 3.15, 3.22, 4.5, and 4.12. Please note there is no class on 3.29. Must attend all five sessions. Mosaic Garden Tiles is a FREE Studio Course for learners 65+ offered by Creative Aging Memphis in partnership with Memphis Public Libraries. This partnership is supported by ArtsMemphis, H.W.
