Compose Yourself: AI Literacy

October 22-November 19 (No class on October 29)

Tuesdays, 6:00-7:30 PM

Join us for a hands-on workshop series on Artificial Intelligence led by instructors from the University of Memphis. The workshops will introduce participants to AI and cover some of the basics, including an introduction to LLM interfaces like ChatGPT, CoPilot, and Gemini; using prompt engineering to ask good questions; spotting AI content, misinformation, and scams online; and incorporating AI into your work and on-line life.  

October 22 – What is AI?: Spotting AI Content, Misinformation, and Scams Online

November 5 – A Generative AI Guide: ChatGPT, CoPilot, and Gemini

November 12 – Prompt Engineering 101: Asking Good Questions

November 19 – Incorporating AI into Your Workflow

Registration for all four sessions is required. Bring your laptop, if you have one. A limited number of laptops will be provided at the sessions.
