Applications open soon!

CLOUD Air Skateboard Camp is for teens 13-18 who love traditional & digital art. No experience with skateboarding necessary! CLOUD Air will be held for 2 weeks (Monday-Friday) at CLOUD901 Teen Lab, located inside the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library at 3030 Poplar Ave. Teens have the opportunity to use traditional and digital art techniques to design and paint their own skateboards under the guidance of local art professionals. Supplies and tools will be provided free of charge. After completing CLOUD901 Air Camp, teens will be encouraged to participate in a showcase and celebration, where their boards will be displayed in the Art & Tech Gallery inside CLOUD901. Teens have the option to keep their board after the show.

Week 1 (June 17-21) is Instruction Week: Teens will get valuable instruction from the artists, get feedback, brainstorm skateboard design ideas with their peers, and try new art techniques.

Week 2 (June 24-28) is Design Week: Teens will use their skills and artists’ feedback to bring their final designs to life! They will continue to check in with the art instructors about their progress and tips for improvement along the way.
