A beginning Spanish class designed for students that have no familiarity with the language. Registration not necessary and we can start you with our beginners group and work you up to our advanced group.

Computer Basics is for the very beginner to introduce fundamental concepts and skills related to using computers. The class encompasses keyboarding, mouse skills, internet and email basics among other basic applications.

Memphis Public Libraries – LINC/211 and the Memphis VA host an information table every Monday and Wednesday to help connect homeless veterans with the services they need.

Walk a mile and get a free book! We are going to walk from the library entrance, complete the walking path around the Bert Ferguson community center (approx. 1 mile), and return to the library.

Connect Crew participated in 901 Day during the Touch A Truck Experience! We shared library resources and signed up several people for library cards.

We encourage our seniors to come to the Levi Library and test their skills in our Bingo Wednesday!

Memphis Public Libraries provides free notary services to the public during drop-in hours: WEDNESDAYS from Noon – 2 PM at the Central Library in the Business & Sciences Department on the 3rd floor.

Lincoln Coffman, Lifeline Peer Project Coordinator with Church Health, continues a 6-part monthly series addressing important topics in mental health, addiction and recovery. 

Participants will work with teaching artist Kristi Duckworth to learn the basic skills of creating mosaics including drawing and coloring a mosaic pattern, cutting pieces out of clay, glazing, adhering mosaic pieces, and grouting.

Learn Spanish for free in this beginner-friendly class for adults! Instructional materials provided at the start of every class. No registration needed.

Memphis 901 Day Event

Connect Crew will be present to share free books and library resources for the students in the Whitehaven community! This will occur in the parking lot next to Brown Baptist, near the Southland Mall.

Join us every Saturday to practice reading/speaking English and building new vocabulary in a casual friendly environment. Each attendee is welcome to read aloud a page from the suggested book.
