Sensory Storytime is a welcoming interactive environment designed for sensory seeking children with autism or other sensory integration challenges.

This event is limited to the first 30 children. Please arrive early to secure your spot!

Connect Crew will be present to share free books and library resources for the students and residents in the Whitehaven community! This event will occur in the parking lot next to Brown Baptist, near the Southland Mall.

This beginner-friendly workshop introduces participants to Adobe Photoshop through a hands-on, step-by-step project. Attendees will start with a dull, unedited photo and transform it into a vibrant, visually compelling image.

Join us for two-hours of casual chess. Players of all levels and ages welcome. Participation is first come, first served as space allows.

Global Game Jam Next! is an annual event operated by the Global Game Jam to serve younger people ages 10-18 who are interested in learning about the creation of video games.

Get ready to build, create, and imagine with LEGOs! Come unleash your creativity and see where the bricks take you!

Five Fridays of Jazz is sponsored by the Memphis Library Foundation and presented in conjunction with the Overton Park Shell and Shell on Wheels.

Participants will learn: Drum programming fundamentals, groove and tempo selection, basic chord progressions, bassline writing, arrangement (intro/verse/hook/bridge), and exporting files for collaboration.

Come to the Cordova Branch Library for Teddy Bear Saturday.  Share stories and snacks.  Decorate a teddy bear's sweater and then take your bear home.

Families are encouraged to bring a sweater for a child in need.

Join us for this months children's art showcase at Cossitt Library. This months exhibit features the art of Germanshire Elementary School under the creative guidance of Diedria Pigues.

If you shake your head, stomp, or pat your feet, clap your hands, or move your body in some fashion to a beat in a favorite song, you have rhythm and this program is for you.

Children will have the opportunity to choose books they would like to read and comfort themselves in the children area on the rug, bean bags or chairs.
