Course Description
“Writing in Interesting Times” will cover five areas of practice: Routine, Reading, Revision, Lifestyle, and Creativity over the course of four lessons. These lessons will include topics that focus on building and maintaining a writing routine, cultivating creativity, maintaining emotional clarity through mindfulness and selfcare,
and understanding the skills of mastering the art of writing—all while examining the lives of famous writers who have lived through periods of unrest. Each class will include time for lecture, writing exercises, and student engagement. By the end of the session, students will have been presented with tools and skills, and challenged to consider their own talents and areas for growth as writers.
Registration recommended but not required.
