Vegetable Garden 101

If you are looking to start a vegetable garden this summer, here are some things that will be shared:  the best location for your garden, the type of soil for your garden that is best garden, what vegetables that are easy to grow, and how much sunlight your garden needs.  Presented by Booker T. Leigh, a retired extension agent who worked more than 30 years for the University of TN Extension Service. Part of his job included presenting and sharing information related to gardening, lawn care, tree disease, vegetable gardens, disease identification among others. He is well known for writing articles for The Commercial Appeal and his television program on the library station. The show airs on WYPL on channel 18.
