Event Details

Join us for a hands-on, 4-week sewing class where you’ll learn the fundamentals of garment construction and complete your very own handmade button-down shirt! Inspired by the iconic Gordon Gartrell design, this course combines style, skill, and creativity to help you build confidence at the sewing machine while turning mistakes into masterpieces.

Under the guidance of a professional fashion designer Samilia Pelshak, you’ll explore every stage of shirt-making—from reading and understanding sewing patterns to accurately cutting fabric and assembling essential features like collars, cuffs, and button plackets. Whether you’re a beginner eager to learn the craft or a hobbyist looking to refine your skills, this class offers the perfect blend of technical instruction and creative expression.

Classes will be held each Saturday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, giving you time to practice your techniques between sessions and finish with a stylish, custom-fit shirt you’ll be proud to wear. All sewing machines and basic materials will be provided, though participants are welcome to bring their own fabric for a personal touch.

Discover the art of sewing, master classic tailoring techniques, and leave with a shirt that’s uniquely yours! Spots are limited—register today to reserve your seat.
