Mapping Our Changing Green Spaces: A Community Learning Activity
Join us for an engaging and interactive program led by Malle Carrasco-Harris, Programs and Research Director for the Overton Park Conservancy, as we explore the important topic of shrinking green spaces in urban areas.
Through a hands-on mapping activity, participants will discover how urban areas grow and how human development can impact parks, trees, wildlife habitats, and other natural spaces. We will examine real examples of how urban landscapes change over time and discuss why protecting green spaces is essential for healthy communities.
Space is limited, so please register to reserve your spot. Registration will open May 1st.
Come ready to learn and be inspired to help protect the green spaces that make our communities vibrant!
