Join us for an information session and community conversation about the work of the Lynching Sites Project of Memphis. This nonprofit organization aims to "create a new legacy of racial equality and justice by turning the light of truth on lynchings in Shelby County, Tennessee." Since beginning their work in late 2015, they have identified 35 victims of lynchings in Shelby County and have installed 4 site markers with more on the way.
