Program Description
Event Details
The goal of this program is to raise awareness about high blood pressure, especially among those in historically under-resourced communities where people face health-related disparities related to heart disease and stroke. We will have volunteers offering blood pressure checks while educating on what numbers mean, how it can be controlled without medication, and self-monitoring tips. A cardiologist will be present to talk about heart disease which is linked to hypertension.
