Week Calendar

Bring your tablet, laptop, or smart device and receive one-on-one technical assistance in accessing the Library’s digital services.  This is not a formal class and customers receive assistance on a first-come first-served basis.  

Computer Basics covers basic computer skills for those who want to learn or improve their computer literacy. Please come with your questions and concerns. Laptops are provided, but feel free to bring your own.      

Participants will learn the basic functions available in Microsoft Excel, including:

Participants will learn: Drum programming fundamentals, groove and tempo selection, basic chord progressions, bassline writing, arrangement (intro/verse/hook/bridge), and exporting files for collaboration.

This is an ongoing class for beginners and those with little experience with computers. 

This class will be held from 11-12:30 on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.

This beginner photography class is designed for students who want to learn how to confidently use their camera and take better photos.

This beginner-level workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of graphic design and guides them in creating a personal logo that reflects their style and identity.

Fridays are for fun! Unwind after a long school week and join us for an afternoon of gaming and snacks.

Need a space to practice your tech skills but want just a little supervision in case you get stuck? Come down to East Shelby for this weekly program where a tutor will be available to check up on your progress while you work on your skills.

Throughout the months of March, April, and May, come join us for the 1,000 Pages Teen Reading Challenge! Once a month, we will be having a program where teens can sit and read to help them on their journey to 1,000 pages!

Build-a-Block[Party] is a multi-session, hands-on program for people who want to learn how to plan and produce neighborhood block parties, small festivals, and community gatherings.

This monthly class series will explore important topics related to 3D printing, including demonstrations on how to use the machine, discussion about the purpose and history of 3D printing, and how to find or create 3D models to print. 

Computers can seem intimidating to many, regardless of age. Even young adults, as well as seniors can use a helping hand.

Tech Help was designed to support individuals in building confidence and practical skills for navigating today’s digital world.
