The Computer Basics class is for the very beginner who has very little computer experience. We start with the basics and help you build knowledge in operating a computer.

Your Local Taxpayer Advocate will present this educational seminar to help you avoid common federal tax return processing issues that can cause refund delays. 

For one-on-one assistance, a government-issued ID will be required.

Do you enjoy light exercise? If so, this is perfect for you. Chair yoga is great for seniors and those with minimal mobility.  

Walk a mile and get a free book! We are going to walk from the library entrance, complete the walking path around the Bert Ferguson community center (approx. 1 mile), and return to the library.

The Cherokee Sewing Club meets once day per month. Both morning and afternoon meetings of the club will make the same project.

The only objective is to put words on paper! Think of this as a NaNoWriMo "write-in," but for those of us who need longer than a year to write a book! Bring a writing project to work on, or start something new. All skill levels welcome.

Free chess tutorials for all ages. Beginners are invited to learn to play, and veterans are welcome to challenge each other to a friendly match of strategy and tactics. For this event we will meet in our main lobby behind the escalators.
