Connect Crew will be present with tons of freebies, library program flyers, and library cards! 

Joseph Oliver and a variety of skilled professionals conduct weekly classes with customers participating in hands-on repair and learning exercises. Participants will be exposed to the basics of electricity and electronics theory and repair.

A beginning Spanish class designed for students that have no familiarity with the language. Registration not necessary and we can start you with our beginners group and work you up to our advanced group.

September is National Library Card sign up! Whitehaven staff will be at City University getting students signed up for library cards and making them aware of all the great programs the library system offers!

Techy Seniors – Phone Basics

Learn the basic functions of smart phones and tablets. Participants will explore settings, and learn the following basic functions:

This program will teach you the ins and outs of investing in the stock market! There will be food and free giveaways, and anyone who participates will get a free $5 share of stock to get you started on your investment journey. 

Walk a mile and get a free book! We are going to walk from the library entrance, complete the walking path around the Bert Ferguson community center (approx. 1 mile), and return to the library.

Join us at the Whitehaven Library for a fun exploration of Japanese anime and comics. We'll dive into monthly screenings of popular anime and engage in discussions and activities on manga trends and Japanese culture. 

Join us every Wednesday for our Fiber Arts Club @ CLOUD901! Whether you want to work on an existing project, start a new project, or learn a new skill, come hang out with other fiber arts fans on Wednesdays from 3:30-5.

Join us to create a cardboard robotic hand and put it to the test in a fun series of challenges!
