Connect Crew goes to the Downtown Farmer's Market to bring giveaway books, library information, children's storytime, library card sign up, and other resources to the market customers. 

Joseph Oliver and a variety of skilled professionals conduct weekly classes with customers participating in hands-on repair and learning exercises. Participants will be exposed to the basics of electricity and electronics theory and repair.

Topics include Estate Planning, Elder Abuse, Nursing Home Care, Social Security, Conservatorship, Eviction Prevention, Rent Disputes and more.

AARP free tax preparation for seniors 60 plus. AARP will assist all, but seniors will be given preference.

AARP Foundation’s IRS-certified volunteers provide FREE basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.

Raleigh Branch will be one of the super sites for free tax preparation starting January 30, 2024, to April 15, 2024.

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center's Health Hub is providing free screenings for blood pressure, Body Mass Index (BMI), and diabetes. 

This program is meant for writers who need motivation and community encouragement to get writing. Every Tuesday, writers will gather at Crosstown Concourse, 7th floor at the big table, to enjoy the company of other writers and get some work done!
