Customers will have an opportunity to learn about the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King through an exhibit as a courtesy of Dr. Michael Hollowell, historian/ author.
South Branch will be one of the sites for free tax preparation on Saturdays from February 17 thru April 13 from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
AARP Foundation’s IRS-certified volunteers provide FREE basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.
Raleigh Branch will be one of the super sites for free tax preparation starting January 30, 2024, to April 15, 2024.

Enjoy stories, songs, and fun as children ages 0-5 are introduced to the joy-filled world of children’s books.
This month we will read about some silly stories, listen to some fun songs, and work on different crafts!
Reading Therapy Dog
Kids age 4-12 can come and read to our sweet reading therapy dog, Pippa! Books will be available for children to read, or they may bring their own. Registration opens one week before the event.
Family Storytime - Black History Month
Family storytimes are a great opportunity for children and caretakers to come together, hear stories, sing songs, and work together on crafts or other activities.
Kids Career Day
Come to the Cordova Branch Library for Kids Career Day. Learn what it's like to work in a Dentist's office. Plus stories and toothbrush painting.
