Walk a mile and get a free book! We are going to walk from the library entrance, complete the walking path around the Bert Ferguson community center (approx. 1 mile), and return to the library.

Come to the Cordova Branch Library for a performance by the Cazateatro Bilingual Theater Group.  See a play.  Then stay for a craft.  For all ages and no registration is needed.

Learn the basics of genealogy research, ways that descendants of both free people and the formerly enslaved can trace their ancestors, and how the use of DNA is leading the way to repair families torn apart by the system of slavery.

We provide the Lego bricks and you make the creations. Come get your build on!
