A beginning Spanish class designed for students that have no familiarity with the language. Registration not necessary and we can start you with our beginners group and work you up to our advanced group.

This program is meant for writers who need motivation and community encouragement to get writing. Every Tuesday, writers will gather at Crosstown Concourse, 7th floor at the big table, to enjoy the company of other writers and get some work done!

CLOUD Air Skateboard Camp is for teens 13-18 who love traditional & digital art. No experience with skateboarding necessary! CLOUD Air will be held for 2 weeks (Monday-Friday) at CLOUD901 Teen Lab, located inside the Benjamin L.

Vámonos a México, amigos! For the month of June, we'll be traveling to Mexico! At the Hollywood Library, we'll spend the summer traveling the globe...from the comfort of our very own library!

Teens Writing Club is a writing space for young writers and aspiring authors to be surrounded by and collaborate with other young writers as they work on their own projects. 

Children are invited to join us for a read-along story time and activity to celebrate the annual Juneteenth National Independence Day.

Come to the Cordova Branch Library to meet local children's author Angela Guthrie.  Listen as she reads her book, then stay to make a clay sculpture.  For ages 5-12 and no registration is needed.

Join us for a special teen string art program celebrating Juneteenth, where you can create your own unique artwork while learning about the significance of this important holiday.

Free chess tutorials for all ages. Beginners are invited to learn to play, and veterans are welcome to challenge each other to a friendly match of strategy and tactics. For this event we will meet in our main lobby behind the escalators.

Join us Tuesday evenings for our Pickleball 101 program on our 3 courts in the Benjamin L. Hooks Library parking lot! We have balls and paddles for folks to use, but feel free to bring your own. Beginners are welcome and encouraged.
