AARP Foundation’s IRS-certified volunteers provide FREE basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.

Are you interested in crocheting or knitting? If so, this program is for you. Memphis Yarnworks is hosting a Sit & Stitch session. Please bring your own supplies.  

Raleigh Branch will be one of the super sites for free tax preparation starting January 30, 2024, to April 15, 2024.

Below is the schedule.
Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

South Branch will be one of the sites for free tax preparation on Saturdays from February 17 thru April 13 from 10:00am to 1:00pm. 

The No More Silence Foundation presents it Adult Cope and Heal Camp! Adult survivors of sexual abuse are provided education and support in a safe space.

The highlight of this meeting is an update on the new Frayser Library and upcoming programs.

Kids age 4-12 can come and read to a gentle reading therapy dog! Books will be available for children to read, or they may bring their own. Registration opens one week before the event.

Chicago Stepping is coming to the Levi Library. Join us on Saturday, March 30, 11:30-12:30, as Anthony Boone (aka-The Professor) demonstrates the Chicago Style 6 count step-by-step while getting in the groove.

Hattiloo Theatre performs a live children play based on the book, Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters. Attendees will be able to participate in an interactive activity based on the play following the performance. 

Let's learn about personal finance through games and crafts! Join the Hollywood Library and Mrs. Carmen Northern (CarmenCents) as we explore how to make our money work for us and build wealth early! Registration is required to attend.

In a galaxy far away, a group of librarians set out to build the Millennium Falcon, taste the delicacies of the Jedi, battle like a Padawan, and create tools that will even dazzle Master Yoda.

Unleash the power of dance in line dancing with Craig Wright.  It's designed specifically for seniors, offering a fun and engaging way to stay active, improve flexibility, and boost your mood.

Did you know that arts and crafts aren't just for kids? Come and join us at Levi as we explore the mind of creativity. Our workshops will help relieve stress and depression, as well as decrease age-related cognitive impairment. 

Come crochet with us at the Cherokee Crochet Club!

Join us every Saturday from 2pm to 4pm to practice reading/speaking English and building new vocabulary in a casual friendly environment. Each attendee is welcome to read a page from the suggested book aloud.
