AARP Foundation’s IRS-certified volunteers provide FREE basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.

Raleigh Branch will be one of the super sites for free tax preparation starting January 30, 2024, to April 15, 2024.

Below is the schedule.
Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

South Branch will be one of the sites for free tax preparation on Saturdays from February 17 thru April 13 from 10:00am to 1:00pm. 

The North Branch Women's Book Club will be discussing, "The Three Mothers," by Anna Malaika Tubbs, facilitated by Vanessa Luellen.

Saturday, March 23rd- Today, children ages 8-13 and their caregivers will learn how to make their own custom tacos with Chef Chasidy from 5 Senses Farming Agriculture and Culinary Arts Program. Attendees must register, limit 10.

Come to the Cordova Branch Library for Yoga for Kids.  Learn stretches and actions to keep you fit.  Fruitsicles to follow!

For all ages and no registration is needed.

Every 4th Saturday, from 1-4 p.m., Mr. James Williams of Sowing Seeds Enterprises will offer free haircuts to our patrons. Patrons must be between the ages of 3-17 in order to take part in this event.

Join an intergenerational book club of eco-enthusiasts! Meet every three weeks from January through March to have discussions surrounding climate justice and learn how to live a more sustainable lifestyle.
