AARP Foundation’s IRS-certified volunteers provide FREE basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.

Raleigh Branch will be one of the super sites for free tax preparation starting January 30, 2024, to April 15, 2024.

Below is the schedule.
Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

South Branch will be one of the sites for free tax preparation on Saturdays from February 17 thru April 13 from 10:00am to 1:00pm. 

Join the Cherokee Sewing Class!  Learn how to thread a sewing machine, then use the machine to make a small project!  All fabric, notions, and needed equipment furnished.

The North Branch Women's Book Club will be discussing, "House of Cotton," by Monica Brashears, facilitated by Linda Brazell.

Come to the Cordova Branch Library for Fairy Tale Day!  Share enchanted stories and magical snacks.  And decorate a Fairy Wand.

For all ages and no registration is needed.

Care Angels is hosting a caregiver support group at the Whitehaven Branch library. The support group is for individuals who are Family Caregivers.

Calling all high school seniors, juniors, and anyone ready to explore all of the HBCUs across the south! Join us at Hollywood Library for our HBCU Fair. We will have universities, community colleges, trade schools, technical schools.

Are you planting herbs in your garden or planning an herb garden? Memphis Area Master Gardener John Peterson will present information and techniques on growing, using, and preserving herbs.

Did you know that arts and crafts aren't just for kids? Come and join us at Levi as we explore the mind of creativity. Our workshops will help relieve stress and depression, as well as decrease age-related cognitive impairment. 

Every 4th Saturday, from 1-4 p.m., Mr. James Williams of Sowing Seeds Enterprises will offer free haircuts to our patrons. Patrons must be between the ages of 3-17 in order to take part in this event.

This is the first installment of the Bartlett Public Library's Teen Filmmaking Workshop Series "Make a Scene". 

Join us every Saturday from 2pm to 4pm to practice reading/speaking English and building new vocabulary in a casual friendly environment. Each attendee is welcome to read a page from the suggested book aloud.
