What is Property Tax Relief ?
The City of Memphis Treasury Tax Relief Department will be providing financial assistance information for homeowners for their city property taxes. Tax Relief, Tax Freeze, and Quarterly Payment Plans are available to qualified candidates in the following categories: disabled homeowners, seniors 65 & older, and 100% disabled veterans or their widows/widowers. Application request forms for the program will be on hand.
How do I protect my home from scammers?
Information will be available from Willie F. Brooks, Jr., County Register, about the Fraud Alert Program. A representative from his office will be available to answer questions and assist with Fraud Alert for your property.
