LENA Parenting Program

LENA Start Program  ( Language ENvironment Analysis)

Open to all Shelby County Residents

Any parent or family member caring for a four-year-old or younger child may participate in the LENA Start Program. LENA Start is an 11-week parent-child class that meets for 1 hour weekly. Reinforcing how to talk and interact at an earlier age can increase your baby's brain growth by preparing their brain for learning to read. During class, you will meet weekly with other parents for an hour to discuss parenting tips while learning from parents of different backgrounds.
