High Blood Pressure Presentation by Methodist North Hospital Board Certified Physicians

Part of Raleighs' Health Matters series program, the goal of this presentation is to raise awareness about high blood pressure, especially among those in historically under-resourced communities where people face health-related disparities like heart disease and stroke. There will be volunteers offering blood pressure checks while educating on what numbers mean, how it can be controlled without medication and self-monitoring tips. A board certified physician will come to talk about heart disease which is linked to hypertension.
