The AAPI Education Series - Outreach Event

The AAPI Education Series, sponsored by the City of Memphis, will take place on Saturday, May 24, from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Bert Ferguson Community Center (8505 Trinity Road, Cordova, TN 38108).

This vibrant community event will feature cultural exhibits, colorful and energetic performances, free food tastings from various countries, a badminton demonstration, free acupuncture demonstrations, face painting, and more.

Memphis Public Libraries will have an outreach table at the event. Thanks to a generous donation from the Friends of the Library, we’ll be giving away some Chinese and a few Vietnamese books and dictionaries. We’ll also be promoting upcoming library programs such as Comic Con, Explore Memphis, and others by distributing flyers and materials.
