DESCRIPTION:For this special event from Like Really Creative, attendees wi
 ll come together to create a collaborative community poem.The program will
  be hosted by musician and yoga instructor Marcella Simien, daughter of Gr
 ammy Award–winning artist Terrance Simien. Participants will begin with 
 a guided meditation that explores and plays with different sounds.They wil
 l then write poetry, lyrics, associations, or reflections inspired by what
  they hear. Afterwards, the group will share their writing and weave it to
 gether into a single collaborative community poem.Memphis artist Zack Orsb
 orn founded the arts organization Like Really Creative in February 2025, c
 ultivating a growing creative community that has attracted nearly 7,000 so
 cial media followers. The organization has hosted up to 100 participants a
 t its popular monthly collage parties, along with events focused on junk j
 ournaling, community walks, artist speed-dating for creative partnerships,
  collective improv music jams, and more.
