Come by the Cherokee Library and pick up a Take It and Make It activity! The supplies you need will be packed in a plastic bag. You may need to use some of your own items from home, like scissors or tape. 

Bring the family to storytime to explore stories and facts, shake your sillies out, sing and rhyme together, and more! 

This storytime occurs on Mondays at 11:00 a.m.

Use different styles of spray bottles to create a water color masterpiece.

Come out and celebrate the emancipation of African Americans in the United States of America with the Hollywood community.

There will be line-dancing, fellowship, historical story-telling, and more!

Sensory Storytime is a welcoming interactive environment designed for sensory seeking children with autism or other sensory integration challenges.

The Play's the Thing!  Come to the Cordova Branch Library to see a performance by the Cazateatro Bilingual Children's Theater.  Each line is presented in English and Spanish, so you only have to sit back and enjoy the play.

Family storytimes are a great opportunity for children and caretakers to come together, hear stories, sing songs, and work together on crafts or other activities. Join us for a storytime about the fun and excitement of painting! 

Do you love reading AND doggies?! Come and read to a sweet, friendly pup and practice your reading skills! Every third Saturday at the Central Library in the Children's story time room from 11 - 1pm.

Children will hear a story about Juneteenth with a confetti pop afterwards.

Come make your very own kite!

Our friends at Les Passees will be at Levi to give two live performances on June 21 and July 19! We'd love for our customers to bring their families to experience important life lessons and the light-hearted humor puppets can provide!

Come join us for comics and good company! We’ll have a wide selection of comics, generously donated by 901Comics, for you to enjoy.

Kids will bring some color to black and white photographs with markers and crayons!

All Pre-K Projects will also include a read-aloud story related to the project.  

UPDATE 06/11: Due to popular demand and a change in our schedule, our Juneteenth Program will begin at 12 p.m. on June 18.

Grab the whole family for a fun movie day at the South Branch Library!

Join WKNO for a fun, hands-on workshop that invites families to explore the arts through storytelling, music, and movement--drawing inspiration from Louisiana Public Broadcasting's digital series Ziggy's Arts Adventure.

Every third Saturday, customers of all ages will get to watch a movie and enjoy popcorn and beverages. Please join us if you are interested, and make sure to spread the word!

Come and join us as we celebrate Juneteenth! The National Civil Rights Museum will host its "Small but Mighty Storytime" series that focuses on peacemaking, kindness, and positive social change at the Orange Mound Library.

Customers can bring their kids to experience simple joy by playing old and new games such as checkers, jacks, Tic-Tac-Toe and more! They can also utilize our XBox system for online gaming!
